How are your customers responding to the shifting political landscape?

Among the most impactful proposals cited by physicians, direct Medicare price negotiations will have the most negative effects on physicians.

  • Physicians are concerned that patient relationships, prescribing autonomy, and profits will struggle if the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) contracts directly with biopharmaceutical companies for Part D.
  • Physicians believe that shifting drug pricing from volume-based to value-based arrangements will positively impact prescribing, the value of care provided to patients, and organizational risk and revenues. They are unsure about the impact on patient relationships.

These and other findings can be found in Health Strategies Group’s recently released research Assessment of 2017 Healthcare Policy Decisions for Biopharma September Pulse.

Key questions answered in this research:

  • What are the most pressing policy questions for your organization?
  • What policies are being implemented by the new government?
  • How are your customers responding to the shifting political landscape?
  • What are the implications for biopharmaceutical companies?
